    Pleasant Grove Independent School District Board of Trustees approves Natalie Reeves as Pleasant Grove High School Principal

    In a regularly called board meeting on Thursday, May 16, the Pleasant Grove Independent School. Reeves replaces outgoing principal Kristen Giles who will move to the position of Assistant Superintendent of Staff and Student Services. “Natalie Reeves has done a tremendous job of developing a strong culture, staff, and academic program at Margaret Fischer Davis Elementary School,” said Pleasant Grove ISD Superintendent Chad Pirtle. “Her proven leadership of a world-class campus will help Pleasant Grove High School continue raising the standard for our high school students.” Reeves has served the Pleasant Grove Independent School District for twelve years as principal, assistant principal, interventionist, and classroom teacher. She will begin her tenure as high school principal this summer. Reeves attended the University of Arkansas, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Reeves also has a Master of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as her Superintendent certification from Texas A&M-Texarkana.

    The Pleasant Grove ISD Board of Trustees approves Patricia Jameson as Director of Special Programs
    The Pleasant Grove Independent School District approved Patricia Jameson as the new Director of Special Programs. Jameson is the current Director of Special Education and Elementary Principal for the Fouke School District. Jameson brings 26 years of experience in education to Pleasant Grove ISD, with former positions as Special Education Director for the Southwest Arkansas Educational Cooperative and Director of Special Services and Testing for Krum ISD. “Mrs. Jameson is an experienced Special Education Director and campus principal and is a great addition to our Pleasant Grove ISD leadership team,” said Pleasant Grove ISD Superintendent Chad Pirtle. “I look forward to working with Mrs. Jameson as we continue in our mission of ensuring high levels of learning for all students.” Jameson attended the University of North Texas, where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. Jameson went on to complete a Master of Educational Administration Degree from Lamar University. Jameson will replace Dr. Tina Antley who is retiring, and begin her duties as Director of Special Programs on July 1, 2024.
