Guitar: Beginner & Intermediate

Pick up a guitar and start playing! Students will learn the fundamentals of guitar, including basic chords, strumming patterns, rhythm, tuning, and simple songs while developing proper playing techniques. No previous guitar experience is required.

Ready to take your guitar skills to the next level? Students who already know basic chords and strumming techniques will explore more advanced chord progressions, rhythm patterns, scales, picking techniques, and song performance while building confidence and musical expression.

Students must provide their own acoustic or electric guitar.

Hawk Hobby Lab

Game of Drones 101

Game of Drones 101 is a program that introduces students to the fundamentals of drone piloting using Tello drones and iPads. Students will learn essential piloting skills, safety practices, drone laws, and real-world applications of drone technology. The course includes hands-on practice, interactive lessons, and exploration of potential careers in the field.

Write Pretty: Calligraphy for Beginners

Ready to turn simple strokes into beautiful lettering? Learn the fun and creative art of modern calligraphy! Students will learn cool brush pen techniques, create beautiful letters and words, add fancy flourishes, and make personalized projects they can show off or give as gifts. From monograms to bookmarks and thank-you cards, you’ll leave with new skills, creativity, and lots of pretty lettering! No experience needed!

Domino Domination

Grades 6–8 • $100

Domino Domination: Road to the Grand Championship! Think you’ve got what it takes to become the Domino Grand Champion? In this fun and competitive 6-week course for grades 6–8, students will learn the rules, strategies, and skills of dominoes while getting plenty of practice and game time. The final two sessions will be the Domino Grand Championship, where players will compete for the ultimate prize: the title of Domino Grand Champion, the Domino Championship Belt, and serious bragging rights!
