Tarts & Crafts

Grades 3–5 • $125

This course is designed for students to reflect on their unique style and how it can be used to spread kindness. We will use our creative ideas to make crafts that serve a purpose. These crafts will be a reminder to stop and think of others before yourself. We will spend the first couple of minutes taking turns serving a quick snack to one another before beginning our creative session. 

Guitar: Beginner & Intermediate

Grades 5–8 • $125
Location: PGMS Transportation to the middle school campus is NOT provided by the district.
Time: 4:00 – 5:00
Instructor: Robert Smithson

Pick up a guitar and start playing! Students will learn the fundamentals of guitar, including basic chords, strumming patterns, rhythm, tuning, and simple songs while developing proper playing techniques. No previous guitar experience is required.

Ready to take your guitar skills to the next level? Students who already know basic chords and strumming techniques will explore more advanced chord progressions, rhythm patterns, scales, picking techniques, and song performance while building confidence and musical expression.

Students must provide their own acoustic or electric guitar.

Little Hawks Volleyball Academy

Get Ready to Bump, Set, Spike, - and have a blast! High energy volleyball program for our littles who love the game, but aren't quite old enough yet to play competitively. We will work on fundamentals, passing, setting and being great teammates! Whether they are completely new to the game or have some experience - come join us and bring your best Hawk Energy!

Paws & Whiskers: Paws for a Cause

Grades 3–5 • $125

Get ready to create for a cause!  Participants will use recycled bottles, newspaper, and plaster to build their very own one-of-a-kind dog sculpture!  Each pup will be painted and decorated with its own unique personality and style.  At the end of the class, our amazing dogs will be featured in a special community dog show in support of the Texarkana Animal League!  Let’s get creative and help animals in need- one pup at a time. Unleash your creativity! 

Wear Your Imagination

Grades 3–5 • $125

Turn your ideas into something you can wear! Students will learn basic Canva skills while designing personalized projects, including a tote bag and T-shirt. The session will wrap up with a fun bracelet-making activity.

Join us for a fun-filled class where imagination comes to life through creative projects, hands-on making, and plenty of artistic fun.  From bookmarks, pennants, keychains, and bracelets to custom makeup bags and picture frames, each week will bring a new opportunity to create, customize, and have fun!

Hawk, Bam, Dot – Majhong

Ready to MAHJ like a HAWK? Get ready to shuffle, rack, and strategize your way through the exciting game of American Mahjong! In Hawk, Bam, Dot, students in grades 3–5 will learn the game through fun challenges, friendly competition, and plenty of opportunities to show off their best moves. Learn the tiles, build your hand, make your move, and see if you can Mahjong!

Explore & Experiment: How Did That Happen?

Grades 3–5 • $130

Does your child love asking “why?” or figuring out how things work? Turn that natural curiosity into hands-on discovery! Through high-energy experiments and engaging challenges, students will explore how things work, make predictions, test ideas, and build creative problem-solving skills—all while having plenty of “How did that happen?!” moments.
