It is a privilege to be part of such a dynamic team at Pleasant Grove Middle School!  I enjoy serving our students, parents, and community in the role of the school counselor.  Seeing students learn and grow is an exciting experience, and I am grateful to be a part of the process.

I am approaching my twentieth year in education and continue to learn new things each year.   I spent many years as a secondary classroom teacher before becoming a school counselor.  Being able to help students achieve academic, social, and emotional success has been the most rewarding part of my career. 

My husband and I have lived in Texarkana for over twenty years, and we have four children in all stages of life, from preschool to college!  We enjoy activities with our children, traveling, and spending time together as a family.   We love our community and are extremely proud to call Pleasant Grove our home.
