I am excited to be a part of Pleasant Grove Middle School. I have the most rewarding job and work alongside some of the best people in education! Academic growth cannot be fully achieved without balancing the physical and emotional needs of growing young students. It’s my goal to promote health and wellness so students can achieve Pleasant Grove’s high educational standards. 

I am a Registered Nurse and hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.  My entire career has been specialized in pediatrics and health education. For 12 years I worked in pediatric acute care. I also spent 4 years teaching undergraduate nursing students at a local community college before joining the Pleasant Grove family in 2019 as a Health Science teacher. This is my first year as the District Nurse and I can’t imagine doing anything else. I hope I can make a difference in the lives of our students. 

I have been married to my husband, Derick, for 21 years. Derick works as Pleasant Grove’s Director of Finance. We have three children, Carson, Jaxson, and Addilyn and they all attend a different campus at PGISD. We are one big, happy Hawk family and consider ourselves blessed to be a part of such a well respected school district.
