Mrs. Toni Deese

Welcome to the PG Band!

My name is Toni Deese and I hope you are as excited about this year as I am. I can't wait to get to know you all and get started.

I am originally from Owasso, Oklahoma, where my family still lives. I started playing saxophone there in the sixth grade and participated in the band program through graduation. After graduating, I moved to Conway, Arkansas where I attended the University of Central Arkansas as a music major. While at UCA, I participated in the Wind Ensemble, Bear Marching Band, Jazz Band, and numerous saxophone ensembles. I finished my degree in four years and moved to Fort Worth, where I started my Master's degree in Saxophone Performance at Texas Christian University. While working on my degree, I taught private saxophone lessons in Fort Worth, where I kept a studio of about fifteen middle school students. During my last semester at TCU, I got engaged to a Texarkana native, prompting my move East. I am so excited and grateful to be here! Mr. Deese and I got married December 29th, 2017, and now we are lucky enough to have him on staff! This is going to be a great year and we can't wait to get started.
