Aspiring Authors: Create your Own Children's Book with Storyjumper.com
This course is perfect for second-graders who love to read, write, and create! In this engaging six-week course, young writers will embark on a creative journey to become published authors of their very own children's book! Each week, students will dive into a different aspect of the storytelling process, starting with an exploration of popular children's books to spark inspiration. From there, they'll learn to develop unique and memorable characters, craft compelling story elements—including a captivating beginning, middle, and end—and bring their imaginations to life through writing and illustration. Students will use StoryJumper.com to write, illustrate, and publish their stories, gaining hands-on experience with digital storytelling tools.

Baseball Skills
Defensive Skill Work/Baserunning (Weeks 1-3)
Each participant will learn the fundamentals needed to succeed defensively on the baseball field. Pre-pitch, footwork, defensive situations, cuts/relays, proper communication, infield/outfield play will all be covered. Base running situations will be covered, with game-like situations that each participant will be able to use to further enhance their knowledge and instincts to be used in games.Offensive Approach/Philosophy/Skills (Weeks 4-6)
Each participant will learn an offensive approach that will help improve their in game production. We will cover mental approach, offensive philosophy, preparation, bunting, situational hitting and attacking the baseball. Each participant will leave the course with a better understanding and confidence to excel in all situations to become a great hitter.Instructor: Riley Fincher

Custom Greeting Cards
This course will introduce students to the art of making personalized gift cards. Students will learn about different types of greeting cards, explore various paper crafting and paper crafting and painting techniques. Students will produce a collection of unique greeting cards to take home.

Young Engineers: Exploring the World of Engineering
During this course, students will be introduced to the concept of engineering and some of its different branches (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, and Environmental). Beginner Guitar Lessons
Our beginner guitar lessons teach students the basics of how to play guitar over the course of 6 weeks. Students will learn with other first-time guitarists in a group setting while also receiving plenty of one-on-one instruction. Students must have their own guitar (acoustic or electric). The instructor has 40 years of experience playing country, rock, and blues.

Introduction to Wood Turning
Discover the art and craft of wood turning in this introductory course designed for beginners and enthusiasts alike. This hands-on class will guide you through the basics of woodturning, including safety practices, tool selection, and proper use of a lathe. You will learn foundational techniques such as spindle turning, bowl turning, and shaping various forms. The course will provide step-by-step demonstrations and personalized guidance, helping you to develop the skills needed to create beautiful, handcrafted wooden pieces. By the end of the course, you'll complete a series of projects, such as a candleholder or decorative spindle, and gain the confidence to continue exploring the creative possibilities of wood turning. No prior experience is necessary—all tools and materials will be provided.

The Ground Game - Jiu Jitsu
If you've ever been interested in MMA or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, then this course is a great way to learn some of the basic movements, and techniques that BJJ Gyms would teach in their beginners classes. Over the 6 sessions, students will learn positions for self defense, how to move on the ground to get to better vantage points for control, how to get away safely from an encroaching attack, and how to neutralize and opponent with a submission hold.
