    To ensure high levels of learning for all students, Pleasant Grove Independent School District is committed to:

    • Being responsible for the success and well-being of every student Pre-K through graduation.
    • Refining a guaranteed and viable core curriculum and ensuring vertical articulation across all grade levels.
    • Building a guaranteed and viable non-core curriculum and ensuring vertical articulation where appropriate
    • Ensuring high quality Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 instruction for all students.
    • Continuing to develop and implement a consistent professional learning structure that promotes best instructional practices and ensures high levels of learning for all.
    • Developing a district-wide framework to systematically respond to students who need timely and targeted intervention and extension.

    SMART GOALS

    The goals of Pleasant Grove Independent School District are:

    • Stretch Goal (Reading) - The percent of students who score Meets or above on STAAR Reading will increase from 57% to 100% by 2025.
    • Stretch Goal (Math) - The percent of students who score Meets or above on STAAR Math will increase from 63% to 100% by 2027.
    • District 2022-2023 Summative Goal 1 - The percentage of students who score Meets or above on STAAR/RLA (All grades RLA) will increase a minimum of 9% from 74% to 83% for the 2023 accountability cycle.
    • District 2022-2023 Summative Goal 2 - The percentage of students who score Meets or above on STAAR/Math (All grades math) will increase a minimum of 6% from 66% to 72% for the 2023 accountability cycle.
    • District 2022-2023 Summative Goal 3 - The percentage of students who Meet the College and Career Readiness Indicator will increase a minimum of 2% from 98% to 100% for the 2023 accountability cycle.
